Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has called for more focus on Mexico's own southern border to better understand what's happening in the U.S.

"We talk a lot about our southern border here in Arizona," he said. "I'd like to help shift the discussion so we're talking more about Mexico's southern border — the crisis, humanitarian and otherwise, that's happening in South America and Central America — at the border.''

So what is Mexico’s current policy on mitigating illegal immigration on its border?
