The controversy continues a year later over the Kari Lake-Katie Hobbs debate that didn't happen

It appears the fallout from last year’s "debategate" between Kari Lake and Katie Hobbs has not yet blown over.
For a quick recap: Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake agreed to take part in the debate sponsored by the Citizens Clean Elections Commission, broadcast on KAET, Channel 8. Her Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, said she would not participate. Instead, Channel 8 did a one-on-one interview with Hobbs, which violated Clean Elections rules. Lake then decided to not appear on Channel 8, but instead did her own one-on-one interview on Channel 7.
Hank Stephenson of the Arizona Agenda has the inside scoop on what went on behind the scenes of all of this, including more recent efforts to patch things up between Arizona PBS and the Clean Elections Commission.
