Papers have been filed in an attempt to remove Arizona’s “Right to Work” law from the state constitution.

Right to Work laws let states determine if workers can be required to join a union to get or keep a job.

Robert Nichols with the group Arizona Works Together claims the provision weakens unions.

"Right to Work is a misleading title, but the numbers don’t lie. At the end of the day, this is about undercutting workers’ abilities to bargain for better jobs," Nichols said.

The organization will have to get over 383,000 signatures by July in order to get on next year’s general election ballot.
